**Summary:**

As the Lead Developer Advocate for React Technologies, you will be a key figure in our strategic outreach and engagement with the developer community. You are responsible for amplifying our product messages and fostering a vibrant and engaged community. Your role is pivotal in shaping the perception of our React-based products, aligning the industry to build innovations for Meta, and driving their adoption in the internal and external developer communities.We are looking for a Developer Advocate to strengthen our open-source ecosystem, ensuring we have the best-in-class technology offerings, community management and developer representation around the globe.

**Required Skills:**

Developer Advocate - React Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Product Manager and other stakeholders to understand and contribute to the overall product strategy for React, ensuring that it resonates with the developer community.

2. Lead a team of external Developer Advocates, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure effective and consistent community engagement.

3. Develop and execute a comprehensive developer relations strategy, including content creation, community engagement, event participation, and more.

4. Represent our company and our React-based products in various online and offline forums, including social media, blogs, podcasts, webinars, conferences, and more.

5. Foster and deepen relationships with key influencers in the React community, including developers, thought leaders, partner organizations, and more.

6. Gather feedback and insights from the developer community and share them with internal teams to inform product development and strategy.

7. Advocate for the needs and interests of the developer community within our company, influencing product strategy and decisions.

8. Develop and deliver technical presentations, demos, tutorials, and other content that helps developers understand and adopt our React-based products.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

10. Coding experience in React and/or React Native.

11. BA/BS in Computer Science or an equivalent degree and experience.

12. Experience of blogging, technical documentation, and developer outreach.

13. Experience presenting to technical audiences.

15. Strong relationship-building skills, with the experience in connecting with and influence a wide range of stakeholders.

17. Interest in empowering developers and fostering a vibrant, inclusive community.

18. Deep understanding of React and related technologies.

19. Deep understanding of the developer community and the challenges and opportunities it presents.

**Public Compensation:**

$170,000/year to $237,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
