Position:  React Developer
Contract (6-12 months)
Rate:  Market/DOE
Location:  Remote/Charlotte, NC

Modis NC is looking for an expert React Developer with full stack experience. You will be responsible for writing React components for a web application. Experience in C# API development a plus.

The project is a rewrite of the user interface for a custom CRM.  The current application is written in Oracle Forms/Reports with an Oracle RDBMS. The new user interface will be written in React.  The API layer will be C# .NET Core Web API. The backend is Oracle PL/SQL and an Oracle database.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze application specifications
  • Build React components based on specifications.
  • Create and Execute automated unit test cases and analyze results
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Requirements:

  • Proficient in React and other associated build tools such as NPX and Yarn, Node.js, Babel, etc.
  • Preferred proficiency in TypeScript 
  • Solid understanding of functional programming in React using features like higher order components, context API, and hooks to build libraries of reusable components.  
  • Proficient with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services, with complex data structure in JSON format. 
  • Experience with Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests such as Jest and visual regression testing such as Storybook
  • Experience with git versioning tools.
