React JS Developer- NYC, NY (W2-Permanent Role)

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated React JS -Advanced for a Hybrid (3 days Onsite 2 days) opportunity in NYC, NY

Position Title: Sr React JS Developer

Location: New York, NY- Hybrid Opportunity

Expected Duration (possible extension): 12 Months contract to hire

JOB Description:
Experience with React/Redux, Typescript, Rx.js, Material UI, WebSocket, Jasmine, Jest

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

Understanding of architecture and design across all systems

Working proficiency in developmental toolsets

Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices

Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals

Experience of full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies

A DevOps mind-set, with a strong focus on continuous improvement

Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement

Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and implement intuitive, multi-device experiences for end users
Design and implement APIs to service our products and business partners
Work closely with other engineers and Product Managers to rapidly prototype new ideas
that can immediately be tested in the market with real-world users
Maintain and introduce new features into existing core products
Participate in planning and feedback on new product features; provide insight and
experience to guide best practices for systems design and development
Ensure long-term stability of systems with documentation and testing
Participate and help facilitate peer code reviews and an efficient development process\

Experience required
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or a technical discipline
At least 3 years of experience building robust and efficient applications
Familiarity with current best practices in Software Development Lifecycle
Significant experience with:
JavaScript & React Framework
Web Technologies: HTML, HTTP, CSS
Implementing high performing REST APIs, Authentication/Authorization protocols
like OAuth 2.0, SSO
Integrating with ecommerce ecosystem apps (Shopify, demandware, magento,
etc.)
Building backend applications with NodeJS ES6 + Express as well as with
Python
Amazon AWS stack of Cloud Services, Kubernetes, Docker
Designing & using SQL/NO SQL databases (MySQL & Postgres, MongoDB)
Web security best practices (OWASP, ISO-27001, SOC 2)
Proficiency in Java (Spring framework) and Go is a p
