Senior Frontend Software Engineer (React)

Client application is technology that streamlines dry bulk transport by connecting the industrys top shippers and carriers. As a member of one of our feature delivery teams, you will work in a fully remote, agile environment supporting our mission of digitizing the dry bulk freight shipping industry by providing performant, tested solutions.

A successful candidate has expert level experience in React and JavaScript, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a strong passion for solving problems.

Full-time (contract to hire)

Fully remote

Core Responsibilities

Youll work with a product owner, and QA tester to deliver code to production with good test coverage, and best in class performance.

Work with designers to translate designs into a functional and performant application.

Minimum Qualifications

JavaScript: 5 years experience.

React: 5 years experience.

Experience in an agile environment for at least 1 year.

Stable home internet connection, and able to provide your own hardware (Mac or Windows laptop, webcam)

Strong understanding of continuous integration, writing tests.

Demonstrated ability to write high quality software.

Ideal Candidate Will Have

B.S. Computer Science

Strong understanding of best practices for SPA style app development.

Familiarity with some of our frontend dependencies, such as Tailwind, Material UI, Storybook, AG Grid, and react-query.

Experience integrating with 3rd party vendors with best practices.
