Job Description

Ventech Solutions is seeking a Senior React / Node.js Engineer to deliver competent O&M and system enhancement support by executing all phases of applications programming activities for a federal client. This role will be part of an Agile Software Development team focused on comprehensive systems integration and user experience enhancement.

Role & Responsibilities

• Devising and modifying application programs and procedures from detailed specifications to solve complex problems. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs
• This position is an individual contributor and has no supervisory responsibilities. Provides functional expertise through day-to-day work tasks. Works under the supervision of management

Skills & Qualifications

• Codebase: JavaScript, TypeScript
• Frameworks: React, Electron, Redux, Node.js
• API: Express
• Testing: Jest, Selenium
• Database: PostgresSQL
• AWS: serverless framework (API Gateway, ALB, Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Kinesis, S3, DMS)
• Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust
• Education: Bachelor's degree or at least 4+ years of experience in a related field, in lieu of a degree
